Why choose brief therapy?
Brief therapy is a practical and down to earth approach. In our work together we will focus
on finding solutions to make the changes that you want to make.
It is not always necessary to carry out a long drawn-out analysis of a problem. We will save
you time by focussing more readily on the issues you want to discuss.
Brief therapy doesn’t require you to come every week for months or to commit to a number of sessions.
You come to see me when you want, if you require more sessions we can book a second appointment at our
first meeting or you can call me when you want to rebook, it is really up to you.
How does it work?
We will explore together not only the changes you
want to make but also the skills and resources you already have. For example we can talk about the times when the problem
did not occur or was less bothersome, this can show us part of the solution. Exploring together the kind of future that
you want can also help to think about the steps towards it.
New
central London practice I am delighted that in addition to my North London practice I am now able
to offer brief therapy in a beautiful, quiet and newly refurbished room, on Trafalgar Square a few minutes
from Charing Cross and Leicester Square underground stations.
